Visiting the website
When you visit this website, the web server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system, and the previously visited page. This is required to deliver the website and keep it secure (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are not combined with other data and are deleted regularly.
Contact by phone or email
When you call or write to us, we process your details to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to handle a quotation or order (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not pass on this data without your consent unless we are legally obliged to do so. Business records are kept for as long as statutory retention periods require.
Cookies and analytics
We do not set cookies for analytics or advertising and do not use any audience measurement tools.
Only the system login for customers sets a technically necessary session cookie so that you stay signed in. It is deleted when you close your browser. No consent is required for this (§ 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021).
When you close the cookie notice with “Got it”, your browser stores this locally (local storage) so the notice does not appear on every visit. No data is transmitted to us. You can delete this entry in your browser at any time.
Map link
The “Show on map” button opens OpenStreetMap in a new window. Data is only transferred to OpenStreetMap once you click it; OpenStreetMap’s privacy policy applies.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Please contact office@gastrofriends.at.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
